Amy Dixon is a Project Worker with Foresight North East Lincolnshire, a UK non-profit organisation which supports disabled adults, aiming to improve quality of life, remove barriers to social exclusion and combat disadvantage. She has worked for the past 3 years on a variety of projects aimed at promoting inclusion and building basic skills, and has delivered activities for British Science Week for the past 2 years. She also participated in the British Science Association’s Community Leaders Programme, which aims to unite the ideas of people who work with underserved audience to drive community engagement in science. In her free time she is a church bell ringer, volunteers for the Samaritans and is an amateur family history researcher.
